Boulevard Market celebrates 20 years with cookbook

It has been 20 years since Erika and John Aylward opened the doors of The Boulevard Market in Tecumseh, bringing their curated inventory of wines, cheeses, and other delicacies to the public with a goal to provide a European inspired market in a historic downtown setting.

The west side of The Boulevard Market building at 102 E. Chicago Blvd. is a focal point at the city’s main corners downtown and for nearly nine years that wall displayed three large murals of art by two local artists.

Erika and John Aylward, owners of The Boulevard Market in Tecumseh, are true believers in the power of food to bring people together.

“All of our best experiences have come over food,” John said. “Think about it. Food appeals to everyone. There are always new things to discover.”

Outdoor dining fans gain new option downtown
