Picking up a 34-26 non-conference varsity football victory at Airport High School on Friday, Oct. 21, improved Tecumseh’s overall record to 4-5 but it was a bittersweet ending for the Indians as they will not be advancing into the playoffs.

BRITTON — For the 17th time in Clinton High School’s history the Redskins’ varsity football team has qualified for the Michigan High School Athletic Association playoffs.

After the Shooting Stars marching band turned in an outstanding performance at halftime, the stands at Indian stadium began to thin out on Friday, Oct. 14, as Tecumseh’s varsity football team struggled against Saline, one of its toughest opponents all season.

It took some doing, but Tecumseh’s varsity football team was able to overcome a slow start and a three-point deficit in the second half to beat visiting Dexter 20-3 in its Friday, Sept. 30, homecoming game.

BRITTON — Britton Deerfield’s varsity football team’s overall season record fell to 0-5 with a 41-0 loss against visiting Summerfield on Friday, Sept. 23.
The Bulldogs accumulated 433 yards of total offense to the Patriots’ 205 yards.
