(Editor’s note: Three out of six candidates for superintendent of Tecumseh Public Schools, interviewed last Thursday and Friday evenings at Tecumseh High School, were asked to return for a second round of interviews on Wednesday evening, September 25.

The long-awaited appointment to fill the top administrator post at Tecumseh Public Schools may be closer at hand as school board members prepare to interview six candidates for superintendent next week at two public meetings on Thursday and Friday, Sept.  19-20.

Eight interviews set for director of city’s economic development

A second go-around in attempts to hire a new economic development director  for the City of Tecumseh is underway this week.

In February, a round of interviews led to an offer to a candidate who later turned it down, according to City Manager Dan Swallow.
