The primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 6 will decide who will be in the running for a number of local seats as well as those seeking state and federal offices, with primary winners to face their opponents in the November 5 General Election.

Four of the nine Lenawee County Commission seats will be on the ballot in the August 2 Republican Primary, including District 7, which includes Ridgeway Township, and District 9, which encompasses Franklin Township, Macon Township, and Clinton Township, including the Village of Clinton.

Michigan’s presidential primary election will take place Tuesday, March 10 at polling precincts around the state, with open hours for voters from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
