The Macon Township Hall at 10700 Ridge Hwy., Britton, also known as the Schroeder Cow Palace, is owned by local resident Matthew Tommelein, and the building has undergone much restoration work in the past year thanks to the Tecumseh High School athletic teams and community members.

A 136-year-old building sits on Ridge Highway property approximately a mile north of its original location near Emmanuel Lutheran Church, waiting for those who search for tidbits of its history to return it to some semblance of the role it played in the Macon Township community.
