Max Morden of Tecumseh, by way of Macon, has been called home. This time he actually listened, peacefully passing to the afterlife on August 12. They can’t possibly be prepared.

Bette Macauley, age 88, passed away peacefully at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh, Mich., on August 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Richard Macauley. Bette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

Cecelia Guistina Johnson, age 94 of Clinton died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born January 19, 1923 in Iron Mountain to the late Angelo and Catherine (Carollo) Nocerini.

Leslie Allen Kopka, age 65 of Manchester died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at University of Michigan Hospital. He was born December 4, 1951 in Tecumseh the son of Elmen Leslie and Jean Marie (Trinkle) Kopka.

Larry J. Palmer, age 59, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away, August 7, 2017, at the Hospice of Lenawee, Hospice Home. He was born January 29, 1958, in Adrian, Mich., the son of Dennis Golden and Helen Inez (Johnson) Palmer. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army.

Judy worked in the banking industry for many years. She attended the Britton Bethel Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed flowers, painting and loved taking care of all kinds of animals.

Steven A. Hyland, 69, of Brooklyn, Mich., and Sebring, Fla., died early Friday morning, August 4, 2017, at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich. He was born August 8, 1947, in Jackson to Donald and Doris (Eichves) Hyland.

Dwight Boozer, age 72 of Tecumseh, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 9, 1945 in Section, Ala., to Clarence and Bertha (Pendergrass) Boozer. He married Phyllis Suzanne Hite on December 8, 1984 in Tecumseh.
