Bruce Thomas Murphy, age 81, of Tecumseh, dearly loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on June 2, 2017, with his family by his side, under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born on January 1, 1936, the son of the late Charles and Theresa Murphy in Dearborn, Mich.

Laura Jane Foster, age 65, of Tecumseh, passed away May 27, 2017. Laura was born November 1, 1951 in Madison, W. Va., the daughter of Lawrence and Opal (Carrier) Foster.  For over 20 years she worked at Herrick Hospital and most recently worked for the Lenawee Intermediate School District.

Richard Carter, 94, formerly of Tipton, Mich., passed away May 25, 2017 in Phoenix, Ariz., where he has resided since retirement in 1985. Dick, as he preferred to be called, was born in Toledo, Ohio.

Pauline Ruth “Polly” Kirsch, 94, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 18, 2017 at Magnumcare of Adrian after a short illness. She was born in Battle Creek, Mich., on June 22, 1922 to Edward F. and Bess (Stillman) Boehm. She married Edgar Carl Kirsch, Jr.

Geraldine Audrey Pobuda (Gerry), 97, of Arizona passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born on August 2, 1919 in Terre Haute, Ind., she received her Bachelors in Education from Western Michigan University and continued further education at the University of Michigan.
