Patricia Ann Carpenter, age 85, of Clinton, Mich., passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Gaslight Village in Adrian, Mich. under the care of Elara Caring Hospice. She was born at home on August 22, 1939, the second of 10 children, to Harry and Irene (Rola) Shadley.

Donald (Don) Lee Schmidt, age 82, passed away on May 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. Don was born on April 2, 1943, and was the fifth son born to Herman and Alma (Starkey) Schmidt.
