William “Court” Nighswander a former business owner and pharmacist of Court’s Village Pharmacy, a 1954 graduate and valadictorian of Deerfield High School, peacefully passed away in Benson, Ariz. on January 14, 2025.

James (Jim) Rolland Lofgren, age 93, of Adrian, Mich. passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025 at the Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home. He was born on May 18, 1931 in West Point, Neb.

Roger Alan Yarhouse, age 90, of Tecumseh Mich., went to be with his Lord at home on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Walter and Margaret “Peggy” (Bolles) Yarhouse.

Richard Russell Sayler, age 93, of Tecumseh, Mich. passed away at ProMedica Hickman Hospital on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. He was born in Riga Township, Mich., on July 4, 1931, the son of the late Edward and Agnes Mae (Somes) Sayler.

Barbara Ann Reams, age 83, of Tecumseh, Mich. passed away, January 9, 2025, at Springcreek Rehab & Nursing Center in Adrian. Barbara was born May 6, 1941, in Pittsburg, Ky., the daughter of William Sr. and Emily (Johnson) Rader. Barbara graduated from high school in Laurel County, Ky.

Melvin R. Dickerson, PhD died early Sunday morning, 15 December 2024 at Hampton Manor of Dundee, where he had been a resident. Born in Detroit, Mich. on 2 November 1942, Dr. Dickerson was a long-time resident of Tecumseh, Mich., where he was active in the Southern Michigan Railroad Society.

Troy Andrew Gibbs, age 54, of Britton, Mich., passed January 3, 2025 at Lynwood Manor, Adrian, Mich. He was born April 18, 1970, in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of Jack and Nancy (Crutchfield) Gibbs.
Troy was a longtime employee of Fingerle Lumber, Ann Arbor, Mich., until their closing.

Susan M. Penn, age 68, of Adrian, passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Hickman Hospital. She was born in Trenton, Mich. on August 14, 1956, to the late Gerald J. and Shirley M. (Schuknecht) Pier.
