I’m confused. Are we dealing with justice or revenge? I am old school. I am a white Republican who still thinks that my vote counts, and is counted. I prefer to get my daily news from a newspaper rather than Facebook.

Caller to BBB (1-5-22): “I just wanted to let BBB know. I got a call from someone who said he was my grandson. He was on a holiday vacation in Mexico City with some of his college friends and got sick with COVID. He said he was calling me from the hospital.

Michigan’s COVID-19 deaths in long-term care facilities is 42% higher than what the state previously reported, according to a report released recently by Michigan’s Office of the Auditor General. Overall, 37% of all Michigan’s COVID-19 deaths can be traced back to long-term care facilities.

Writing to the editor of the Tecumseh Herald is something I have never done before, however, I felt it was necessary in order to publicly thank two individuals for their unexpected kindness. The “paying it forward” spirit is alive and well in Tecumseh, and here are two examples.

That the millions of dollars being spent on Project Phoenix doesn’t include a tribute to veterans is a real shame. Do the only right thing that matters first. There are plenty of places to play baseball because of these sacrifices.
