Greg Gaw, a resident in the Britton Deerfield school district, reached out to Senator Joe Bellino regarding the millage tax amounts that more than doubled for 1,400 parcels in the district. Bellino represents Lenawee, Hillsdale, and Monroe counties.

State Senator Joe Bellino’s letter in the daily newspaper, “My Take: Democrats’ mandates will cost people more for less-reliable energy,” completely misses the mark and is uninformed. Makes you wonder where he gets his information and shows the power of misinformation.

Before Marilyn Underhill, daughter of V.C. and Velma Knight, passed away, she made sure that her parents’ wishes were carried out to benefit Lenawee County.

Although I don’t know the name of the Tecumseh teacher who donated an entire house full of possessions, including furniture, to the high school Environmental Club, I’d like people to understand just how much many Tecumseh teachers give.
