The River Raisin Watershed Council (RRUC) partnered with Busch’s and classes at the Compass Learning Center to teach people in the community about plastic pollution and how to reduce the amount of plastic we use.

Tecumseh school board meetings are out of hand! The board must start leading by example, not joining in the disrespectful conduct that has been become prevalent at recent board meetings and in the public realm as well.

In 1949, 46 students graduated from Tecumseh High School 70 years ago. There are a few of us still around to hopefully get together and celebrate this occasion. Our class was the last one to graduate from the current Tecumseh Public Schools Board Office.

I am watching in dismay the debate about the direction of our schools deteriorate into anger and polarization. When I moved to Tecumseh, I often promoted the fact that the community knew how to pull together and work toward the common good, rather than break off into factions.
