My daughter wrote a heart-felt letter to Tecumseh Public Schools Superintendent Kelly Coffin. She has yet to respond to her. I was very proud of my daughter for sending the email and having the courage to ask for change.

After sharing with a person my concerns about the direction Tecumseh Public Schools is heading, I was advised to write a letter to the editor/community to share my concerns and knowledge about how things have changed at Compass Learning Center.

An AmeriCorps NCCC crew helped Tecumseh Parks and Recreation remove invasive plant species from our parks during the month of May. The crew removed more than 400 lbs and cleared nine acres of garlic mustard, dame’s rocket, and honeysuckle.

Your story (May 17) on the letter carrier from Tecumseh who was killed after helping run the letter carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive last year has received national attention – for good reason.

Should dedication plagues be removed from Public Buildings?
No, they should not! They are part of the history of the town and the hard working people that contributed their time, talents, and treasure to provide public education.
