The Herald hasn’t had any coverage of the school sports season since early May. The Varsity Baseball and Boys Lacrosse teams had phenomenal seasons. I’m sure other teams had noteworthy seasons and performances as well.

My daughter wrote a heart-felt letter to Tecumseh Public Schools Superintendent Kelly Coffin. She has yet to respond to her. I was very proud of my daughter for sending the email and having the courage to ask for change.

An AmeriCorps NCCC crew helped Tecumseh Parks and Recreation remove invasive plant species from our parks during the month of May. The crew removed more than 400 lbs and cleared nine acres of garlic mustard, dame’s rocket, and honeysuckle.
