Tecumseh boys lacrosse team beats Chelsea 13-5

TECUMSEH — On Monday, May 9, Tecumseh’s varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Chelsea and returned with a 13-5 victory.
 
The Indians’ offense had eight players score including Dylan Day (4 goals, 1 Assist), Evan Lopez, Max Austermiller, Ricky Amador, Drake Ringer, Justin Weasel, Kobe Jennings and defenseman Bogar Trout.
 
Tecumseh’s defense was led by Waide Osburn, Trout, Mike Burns, Drake Ringer and goalie Mike Litogot.
 
Fernando Robison had another strong performance for the Indians, winning 17-of-22 face-offs.
 
Dexter defeated Tecumseh 10-9 in overtime on Friday, May 6, at Indian Stadium.
 
Day scored five of Tecumseh’s goals while Amador hit the net for three goals. Austermiller scored one goal for the Indians.
 
Sylvania Southview traveled to Tecumseh on Tuesday, May 3, and was defeated 11-7.  
 
Amador led all scorers with three goals and an assist.
 
The Indians were led defensively by Trout and Osburn, who led the Indians in ground balls with seven and four respectively.  
 
Tecumseh coach Steve Ayre said that despite having three players out with injuries the team managed to keep its offense well rounded with seven different players recording assists.
 
Litogot recorded five key stops in the fourth quarter to seal the Indians’ victory.
