The board of directors of Lenawee Now, the nonprofit private/public partnership meant to drive economic opportunity in Lenawee County, will not cooperate with a forensic audit requested by the Lenawee County Commission.

At Tuesday’s meeting of the Personnel/Ways & Means Committee of the Lenawee County Commission, the committee voted to order a forensic audit of the financial records of Lenawee Now, an economic development agency, after a lengthy discussion that became heated at times.

TPS receives audit, revenues down ‘slightly’

An audit presentation, a transportation update, discussion on purchasing a 10-passenger van, and board committee reports were among the many items on the agenda at the Tecumseh Public Schools board meeting Monday night.
