Tecumseh’s Farmers Market has a new market manager in Dara O’Regan, a longtime vendor at the Market on Evans. O’Regan helped with the weekly seasonal market last summer as part of the market advisory committee and officially started her new role in January.

Tecumseh’s Farmers Market will open for the season Saturday, May 4, with a special Star Wars theme based on the saying, “May the fourth be with you” that mimics the popular futuristic science fiction film’s line, “May the force be with you.”

Last year’s precautions delayed the start of Tecumseh’s Farmers Market until June, but this year the market will be right on schedule with opening day set for Saturday, May 22 and the return of most of the event’s regular features at the Market on Evans, 213 N. Evans St.
