It’s October, and that means that Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival will soon bring a plethora of fall fun and activities to the downtown area. This, the 29th year of the event, will provide plenty of things to do and see Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14 and 15.

The annual Tecumseh Ice Sculpture Festival is set for next weekend, Jan. 21-22 and Rhonda Nowak, marketing and event coordinator for the city of Tecumseh, is eyeing a chilly forecast.

In a year where so many festivals have cancelled, Appleumpkin Festival visitors and vendors are looking forward to the yearly festival in Tecumseh, set for October 10 and 11. The goal for the Appleumpkin planning team is to make the festival fun and safe for everyone participating.
