District reconfiguration was a major topic at Monday night’s school board meeting, but Tecumseh Public Schools teachers were not supportive of the options nor the decision-making timeline that the board and administration insist are crucial to head off financial deficits in the budget.

The topic of budget cuts was once again prominent at Monday’s meeting of the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education, with several teachers and community members stepping up during the first public comment period of the meeting to express their opposition to the option of closing Herrick Park
