Robert Loudermilk, owner of four JR’s Grill & Pub locations in Tecumseh, Adrian, Milan, and Brooklyn, announced the closure of all four restaurants Tuesday, Jan. 23 on the social media page for the business.

Jenny Ryle, owner of The Eve and Annie Boutique in Tecumseh and Dexter, announced Tuesday on social media that she would close the Tecumseh location on January 27 after four years of running the store at 102 W. Chicago Blvd.

The board of education of Tecumseh Public Schools moved forward Monday night with reconfiguration, choosing to close Herrick Park and Patterson Intermediate Learning Centers at the end of this school year.

In 2008, Jeff and Janelle McClure made a decision to open The Sports Hut to sell school spirit wear and custom-printed business apparel. They saw a real need for the type of business in the Tecumseh and Lenawee County area.

After 36 years on the Boulevard, Dan and Barb Hacker of Hacker Jewelers, Designers and Goldsmiths, Inc. have been a fixture in downtown Tecumseh. Shoppers became more than casual customers and more like friends, which made the decision to retire a bittersweet one for Dan and Barb.
