The Michigan Nurses Association announced on Monday that nurses at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital would move one step closer to going on strike, and registered nurses (RN) would hold a “practice strike” Tuesday, Jan. 30 outside of the hospital.

It was a historic day on December 28 at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital (CVHH). Frontline workers began receiving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in the afternoon.

Members of the Lenawee County Health Authority on Thursday, March 29, gave unanimous approval to issue tax-exempt bonds to ProMedica Health System for the construction of the ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital on M-52.
