Supt. recommends hiring operations director to oversee five departments

During a short school board meeting Monday night, Tecumseh Public Schools Superintendent Rick Hilderley reported that in reorganizing things within the district, a director of operations position has been posted and interviews are being scheduled.

The Herald received a press release from Tecumseh Public Schools over the weekend announcing the retirement of Superintendent Rick Hilderley, effective at the end of the 2023-24 school year. The press release is as follows:

In a special meeting Monday, Oct. 7, the Tecumseh Public Schools (TPS) Board of Education voted to approve the contract with newly chosen superintendent Rick Hilderley, who is currently superintendent of Bronson Community Schools.
