During a short school board meeting Monday night, Tecumseh Public Schools Superintendent Rick Hilderley reported that in reorganizing things within the district, a director of operations position has been posted and interviews are being scheduled.

Kelly Jo Gilmore has been appointed as Tecumseh’s next Economic Development Director. Gilmore’s appointment was announced by City Administrator Dan Swallow at the Tecumseh City Council meeting Monday night.

Tecumseh City Council voted 5-2 Monday to confirm the appointment of Kelly Jo Gilmore to head up Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) as director. The timing of the appointment was unannounced and came as a surprise to the public.
