TECUMSEH — It could be a while before a bridge on Tecumseh’s west side reopens.
The North Occidental Highway bridge over Evans Creek, between Brown Street and Conklin Drive, closed Aug. 28 after structural concerns identified in an inspection.

RAISIN TWP. — It’s been a quiet summer on Occidental Highway south of Sutton Road.
That’s because the road has been closed to through traffic since late May as a roundabout is being built at the intersection of Occidental and East Valley Road.

A Deerfield woman was killed and her husband sustained serious injuries in an automobile crash May 17 on Occidental Highway south of Gady Road in Raisin Township.
