TECUMSEH — Three ordinance amendments were approved Monday by the Tecumseh City Council, but a fourth was rejected, leaving the city with conflicting laws about vegetation height near street intersections.

Setting up a marijuana-based business in Tecumseh will become officially prohibited beginning on December 13 following the second reading of an ordinance adopted by city council on Monday. The decision was unanimous.

Tecumseh is joining other cities across the state by enacting an ordinance to prohibit or restrict the opening of marijuana-based businesses following the legalization of marijuana at the November 6 election.
