With no appeals filed by school board members targeted for recall, the drive to place four of seven Britton Deerfield Board of Education members back on the ballot in November has progressed to the point of petition signature-gathering.

A group of parents have likely gathered more than enough signatures to force four Tecumseh Public School Board members to run for re-election on November 6. If the signatures are certified by Lenawee County Clerk Roxann Holloway, all seven board seats will be on the ballot.

Recall petitions valid for school board

Petitions to recall four Tecumseh School Board members were approved on Wednesday, May 2 by the Lenawee County Election Commission led by Probate Judge Gregg Iddings. They ruled that language in the petitions was clear and all facts were valid.
