Enough valid signatures were collected to force a special election for four Tecumseh School Board members. On Tuesday, Lenawee County Clerk Roxann Holloway certified that, despite several hundred invalid signatures, the minimum number was attained.

A group of parents have likely gathered more than enough signatures to force four Tecumseh Public School Board members to run for re-election on November 6. If the signatures are certified by Lenawee County Clerk Roxann Holloway, all seven board seats will be on the ballot.

Petitions to recall four Tecumseh School Board members were approved on Wednesday, May 2 by the Lenawee County Election Commission led by Probate Judge Gregg Iddings. They ruled that language in the petitions was clear and all facts were valid.
