The process of finding a new superintendent for Tecumseh Public Schools is progressing and getting closer to finding a new leader to succeed Rick Hilderley, who announced in August that he would retire at the end of the 2023-24 school year.

A search for a new police chief for Tecumseh was outlined in a report to Tecumseh City Council Monday by city manager Dan Swallow, who had anticipated the early retirement of Chief Troy Stern who announced his decision to step down on August 17.
