Mary Hadley of Tecumseh was taking a walk along North Evans Street one day, not far from her home, when something out of place caught her eye near the baseball diamonds.
“I wasn’t sure what it was, but when I walked over, I saw it was a softball,” Hadley said.

While the boys were sweeping the Maples baseball team, the Tecumseh girls varsity softball team went out and did the same thing in Adrian on Monday, May 7 over their perennial cross-town rival, the Adrian Maples.

During the past week, the Tecumseh High School (THS) softball team appeared to be moving in a positive direction, as the girls earned three wins against one defeat and moved their season record to seven wins against eight losses.

CLINTON — Monroe Saint Mary Catholic Central (SMCC) ended Clinton High School’s varsity softball season with a 6-0 shutout in the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Division 3 regional softball final at Manchester on Saturday, June 10.
