CLINTON — Three more victories improved Clinton’s varsity softball team record to 14-1 as the Redskins went 3-0 at Dundee’s Invitational on Saturday, April 30.

Jeff Scott has been a varsity assistant for Britton Deerfield (BD) football, the head varsity coach for boys golf and girls basketball, and has now moved into the girls softball program as the head varsity coach this season, replacing Leslie Tanis.

There is an entire varsity softball season ahead of Tecumseh High School senior pitcher Kayla Wild, but she is already making plans to play at the collegiate level at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
