Library seeks millage renewal Tuesday

Voters in the Tecumseh School District will travel to the polls next Tuesday to decide on the renewal of the Tecumseh District Library’s decennial operating millage. The 1.35-mill levy funds about 90 percent of the library’s operations.

Library hosts exhibit by local artist Jill Schaffer

Artist Jill Schaffer enjoys painting all mediums and subjects. A teacher at Community Arts of Tecumseh (CAT), Schaffer is skilled in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel painting. Schaffer’s art is currently on display at the Tecumseh District Library (TDL) throughout the month of May.

Couple arrested for overdue books at local library

Tecumseh residents Cathy and Melvin Duren were arrested on Friday, April 8, after they failed to return two books checked out of the Tecumseh District Library (TDL).
