The Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education unanimously chose former board member Dr. Ed Tritt Monday night as the appointee to fill the seat being vacated by Mike McNamara, who is moving out of the area.

A timeline and process was presented to Tecumseh City Council Monday by city manager Dan Swallow for the appointment to fill the vacant council seat of Gayle Keiser, who resigned at the September 17 meeting.

TPS board appoints Spotts to fill vacant seat

A retired Tecumseh teacher, counselor, past Tecumseh Education Association president and coach was appointed on Monday, June 11 to fill the vacancy on the Tecumseh Board of Education. Lori Spotts took the position left open by Dr. Edward Tritt after he resigned at the May board meeting.
