On May 2, 2023, at 8:47 a.m., the Tecumseh Police Department was dispatched to a wooded area in the 400 block of S. Maumee St.

Tecumseh woman reported missing

Crime Stoppers of Lenawee is asking for the public’s help locating a missing person. The missing person is 52-year-old Dee Ann Warner, from Tecumseh. She was last seen at her residence on Munger Road in Franklin Township on the evening of April 24 and the early morning hours of April 25.

Humane Society joins in effort to reunite homeless woman with her best friend

When a Monroe County woman became homeless, she wondered what would happen to her best friend. When the weather was getting colder last fall, the woman refused to enter the homeless shelters because she was afraid to lose her dog, a small Pomeranian named Lady Bug.
