Books from the last ten years are always welcome as donations for the book sale and can be dropped at the library circulation desk. Proceeds support library programming and activities.

The Deerfield Branch library will have family storytime. Join Ms. Fabi for a ton of fun! Enjoy stories, music, and more. Storytime is geared toward ages 0 – 5 but older siblings are welcome. /p>

You’ve done all the hard work with your genealogy research and now it’s time to learn how to compile it all. At this class, led by Julie Olin, attendees will explore the different methods of keeping your research organized so you always know where you’ve been, what you found, and what you need to do next. Registration is required.
Kids of all ages can make their own candy jar, where they can put all of their favorite sweets. All supplies will be provided and there is no registration required.

The Lenawee District Library will be showing the 2005 movie “The Wedding Date” on Thursday May 7 from 2:00 – 3:30 and 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This movie is rated pg-13 and is for ages 16 and up. Refreshments will be provided.
Sewers ages 17 and up of all skill sets are invited to join the new Deerfield Sewing Club. Bring your machine, materials, and current project and work on it surrounded by others sewers!

TECUMSEH — Part of the cost to flush a toilet, take a shower or do the dishes in Tecumseh will go down starting in July, but overall water and sewer bills in the city will likely increase.
