A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Sunday, March 30 celebrated the opening of the new Clinton High School addition that was made possible by the passage of a bond proposal in 2021.

After 29 years of teaching science, Clinton High School teacher Renee Gilson has received recognition for her dedication and contributions to the school, the surrounding community, and the field of education.

Clinton wrestlers travel to Grand Rapids for round robin tournament

The tournament at Grand Rapids Forest Hills on January 18 was a round robin format and the Clinton Redskins went 3-1 for the day. The wrestling started with a win over Allendale 47-23. The second round was against host Forest Hills Eastern and the Redskins prevailed 56-15.

Clinton continues 'great' season at invitational

Clinton High School cross country coach Kurt Hillegonds said the Redskins are having a great year.

And they have the results to back it up.

The Clinton boys team finished fifth at the Hudson Booster Invitational and the girls were 11th in the Division 2/3 race.

Clinton football triumphs over Britton Deerfield

Clinton hosted Britton Deerfield on Friday, Oct. 4. Victory came to Clinton as Britton Deerfield could not keep up with the Redskins running game.

Clinton’s Noah DeShano ran for 15 yards for a touchdown, extra point by Jonathan Baughey was good.

Clinton student gets $48,000 surprise

CLINTON — Kaitlyn Shaffner got a big surprise November 10 when Colton Martinez, admissions representative from Spring Arbor University, showed up at Clinton High School (CHS) to award her a $48,000 scholarship.
