A plan to fund crucial repairs to Tecumseh Community Pool at Tecumseh Middle School by placing a 10-year, .40 mill bond on the August primary ballot was kiboshed after the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education found that the type of repairs needed do not qualify for bond funding.

The Tecumseh School Board voted to call for election on March 8, 2016, to renew the 0.25 millage for the indoor pool located at Tecumseh Middle School.
