Voters in the city of Tecumseh will be asked this fall to renew the street improvement millage, after city council voted unanimously to place the measure on the November 5 ballot. The city is seeking a 5-year millage rate of 1.92, which is $1.92 for every $1,000 of taxable value on property.

A 1.75 mill sinking fund will be on the November ballot, a measure that the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education hopes will raise funds for repairs to Tecumseh Community Pool and to complete a variety of other capital projects in the district.
