Local high school golf teams will have a chance to advance to the Michigan High School Athletic Association finals this week with regional tournaments taking place at various sites around the area.

On Saturday, March 7 the Tecumseh-Manchester and Ann Arbor gymnastics teams traveled to Canton for the MHSAA Regionals. Tecumseh took ninth with a team score of 121.325.

The Tecumseh Senior Equestrian Team completed their 2019 season with a third place finish at Region E Regionals in Mason September 27-29. They competed with the other Division A schools of Lowell, Rockford and Bloomfield.

The Tecumseh Baseball Team ended their season with a 2-1 loss to Fowlerville in the Michigan High School Athletic Association regional semifinals on Wednesday, June 5.

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity boys and girls track and field teams recently competed in Division 2 regional competition at Monroe Jefferson and the boys placed fourth while the girls finished 10th out of 15 teams.

CLINTON — Clinton’s varsity boys track and field team placed second (134.50) in the MHSAA Division 3 regionals at Erie Mason on Friday, May 20, and qualified for the Division 3 state meet while the girls team (83) finished fourth.

TAYLOR — The Division 2 regional bowling championships took place on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28 at Skore Lanes in Taylor and Tecumseh’s girls won the title while the boys placed second.
