Proposal 1: New K-4 elementary, district wide security upgrades, and music classroom addition at the high school.

What in the world is the school board thinking by asking again for a bond approval for more money than they did the first time. The voters said “NO.” Why on earth would we approve more money, especially when inflation is running at over 8%? 

January 6 hearings conclusion: ‘Both parties are guilty’

So that’s it then, it’s over?

The conclusion of the January 6th hearing reminds me of a line from that famous poem The Hollow Men by T. S. Eliot – “This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper.”

Do you remember when Gov. Whitmer tried to shut down the shop of an elderly barber and fined him $9,000?

Do you remember “You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog”?

All 3 proposals are amendments that will permanently change the Michigan constitution.

Prop. 1: Voters for Transparency & Term Limits

• Doubles a representative’s term limit from a max of 6 to 12 years

• Allows lawmakers to serve an entire 12 years in one chamber

Tecumseh Public Schools’ bond proposals: Yes, you can vote no for both!

Given the state of our economy, we should not be excited about being on the hook for $100 million, principal and interest, for the next 20 or 30 years. The following are some concerns.
