A preview of the 2021-2022 budget for the City of Tecumseh was presented to council Tuesday evening during a special study session that preceded the regular meeting. Council had rescheduled the meetings from Monday due to President’s Day.

Dan Swallow didn’t have his sights set on becoming a city manager when he was in college studying environmental issues, but his path led him to municipal leadership and ultimately to Tecumseh, where residents have benefited from his innovation and drive since December 2015.

Dan Swallow, recently appointed city manager of Tecumseh, is working with the city council to determine priorities for 2016. Swallow was the former director of economic and community development for Monroe before accepting the city manager position in November.
