A joint study session between the Tecumseh Public Schools (TPS) school board and Tecumseh City Council Monday night gave council members a chance to ask questions regarding two bond proposals on the upcoming November 8 ballot.

Tecumseh Public Schools will host the City of Tecumseh for a joint study session to discuss the bond proposals placed on the November ballot.

The meeting and presentation will be in the cafetorium at Tecumseh High School on Monday, Oct. 10 at 6 pm.

City suspends annual dues to Lenawee Now

Unexpected revenues lead council to adjust current year budget

Tecumseh City Council passed a resolution on Tuesday to amend the city’s 2016-17 budget for the general fund from $5,240,872 to $5,394,355 following unexpected revenues during the last six months. The city is currently halfway through the fiscal year, which runs July 1 through June 30.
