In spite of a delay of several weeks, Tecumseh High School’s graduation of the class of 2020 on Sunday, July 19 was a spectacular and creative event that honored the school’s seniors while practicing safe social distancing.

Tecumseh High School has announced its top seniors for the Class of 2020. The daughter of James and Holly Somsel, Erin Somsel, valedictorian, plans to attend Kalamazoo College, majoring in pre-medicine.

The Tecumseh High School Sculpture Garden has now reached the second phase of development. The project began in 2013 guided by THS art teacher Christine Obeid and her art students.
“It started with students and I helped them to focus in with what they really wanted,” said Obeid.
