Like all Tecumseh teachers, the fifth through 12th grade Tecumseh Public Schools music staff had to get creative with online learning. Watching YoYo Ma play songs of comfort and put them on social media gave Amy Marr an idea.

Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) will close out its TCA Summer Series with a performance by Ear Candy, a vocal group who will perform popular American music from the 1950s and 60s, as well as offering a free ice-cream social on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.

Family fun, music, shopping and pets round out this year’s annual Tecumseh Sidewalk Sales, being held July 15 and 16 throughout downtown. The Tecumseh tradition dates back to the 1950s and attracts patrons from the local area and beyond.
