Gutting roadless protections will cost taxpayers, increase fire and harm health

I’m a mother of three and a recently retired nurse with years of experience supporting families with at-risk newborns. I’ve seen how wildfire smoke from hundreds of miles away increases the number of Michiganders sent to emergency rooms with asthma attacks and breathing troubles.

Our school board has made the decision to tear down the Tecumseh Community Memorial Pool. In my opinion they did make the right decision. However, now they want to use money from the sinking fund to complete this project.

Resident unhappy with lot rent increase

Newburg Meadows was purchased two years ago by a large company for 8.5 million dollars. They now operate under Newburg Meadows LLC after changing names and moving money around.

They now are under two tax ID numbers and owe taxes on $8.5 million as Michigan law states.
