Lady Indians hoopsters improve record to 8-2 in Southeastern Conference

The Lady Indian Basketball Team had two big victories, despite having six days off with no practice. They beat Lincoln on Friday, Feb. 1, 47-12 and held on to beat Jackson, 49-46 on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

It was Senior Night for the Tecumseh Wrestling Team on Wednesday, Jan. 16, and the Indians didn’t disappoint as they polished off both Ann Arbor Skyline and Monroe in Southeastern Conference league play. They also placed four grapplers in tournament play during the past week.

The Britton Deerfield Girls Basketball Team squeaked by their neighboring Tri-County Conference rivals Clinton in a close game during action on Thursday, Jan. 17 in Britton. The final score was 43-40.

Tecumseh swimmers beat Ypsilanti, qualify for postseason

The Tecumseh High School Boys Swim Team picked up a resounding victory against Ypsilanti on Tuesday, Jan. 8, winning all 12 events and beating the Grizzlies, 95-16.

Tecumseh finished with seven season-best times, six of which were also high school career best times/scores.

Team USA bowling trials were held at the Gold Coast Bowling Center, in Reno, Nevada, this past week and Tecumseh’s Jordan Richard earned a spot on the team for the third straight year.

Girls defeat Adrian Maples 15-0

While the boys were sweeping the Maples baseball team, the Tecumseh girls varsity softball team went out and did the same thing in Adrian on Monday, May 7 over their perennial cross-town rival, the Adrian Maples.
