Only 62 points were scored by both Tecumseh and Chelsea’s varsity girls basketball teams on Friday, Feb. 2 in the Indians homecoming with a majority of them belonging to the Bulldogs.

Not just being another fish in the pond was one of the reasons Tecumseh High School senior Devin Mendez decided to sign with the University of Detroit Mercy on Thursday, Feb. 2 to play soccer for the Division 1 Titans.
 

Three Tecumseh wrestlers win Lenawee County All-Star championships

Adrian College’s Merillat Sport and Fitness Center was packed on Friday evening, Jan. 27, for the Lenawee County All-Star Wrestling Tournament where 14 athletes earned championships to represent the best the area has to offer.

Clinton boys step up to win

CLINTON — Clinton’s varsity boys basketball team traveled to Whitmore Lake on Tuesday and won 66-60 with Danny Spence recording a career-high 34 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.

TECUMSEH — Passing the ball around was a problem for Tecumseh’s varsity boys basketball at home against visiting Lincoln on Friday evening as the Railsplitters defense took it to the Indians and netted a 53-35 Southeastern Conference  (SEC) victory.
 

Britton Deerfield shuts down Trojans, falls to Bulldogs

BRITTON — Only giving up two points in both the first and last periods of its Friday, Jan. 20, varsity girls basketball game against visiting Whitmore Lake allowed Britton Deerfield’s Patriots to easily secure a 47-16 Tri-County conference victory.
 

Tribe records bowling wins over Ann Arbor Huron

TECUMSEH — In a home varsity boys bowling match against visiting Ann Arbor Huron on Wednesday, Jan. 18, Tecumseh won 28-2.
 
Senior Tevon Hastings led Tecumseh with 267 and 223 games while sophomore Elliot Discher rolled a 223.  
 

Britton Deerfield bowlers lose to Sand Creek

BRITTON — Britton Deerfield’s varsity boys bowling team lost 18-12 against Sand Creek on Friday, Jan. 20.
 
The Patriots’ leaders included Ian Goen (203) and Aaron Folau (182).
