It was fight-night at Clinton High School on Friday, Feb. 10, with the Redskins battling to stay alive in its winter homecoming varsity boys basketball game against a scrappy Whiteford Bobcat squad.

It took some doing, but Tecumseh’s varsity football team was able to overcome a slow start and a three-point deficit in the second half to beat visiting Dexter 20-3 in its Friday, Sept. 30, homecoming game.

Tecumseh High School’s (THS) homecoming festivities this week celebrate the district’s “150 Years of Quality Education” and will conclude with a community concert by Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels Saturday, Oct. 1 at the high school gymnasium, 760 Brown St.

Winter homecoming festivities were dampened on Friday evening at Tecumseh High School with the Indians’ varsity boys basketball team falling 55-38 in Southeastern Conference action against visiting Chelsea.

The crowning of Clinton High School’s winter homecoming king and queen was the highlight of the night for the Redskins on Friday, Feb. 12, as the visiting Morenci Bulldogs won the varsity boys basketball game 58-40.
