Saturday morning, April 8, brought sunny, warm weather and baseball as Tecumseh High School’s varsity team held its home opener where fans were able to comfortably watch the action in new bright orange seats directly in front of the press box.

TECUMSEH — Thirty-two runs were scored by Tecumseh’s varsity softball team in its opening doubleheader at Blissfield on Wednesday, March 29 with the Indians winning both games to start the season.

Indians open baseball season with wins against Onsted

TECUMSEH — Adrian College’s Nicolay Field hosted a season opening varsity baseball doubleheader between Tecumseh and Onsted on Wednesday, March 29, where the Indians swept the Wildcats with a pair of victories.

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity girls and boys track teams competed at the Onsted Wildcat Relays on Wednesday, March 29 and placed second behind Onsted’s team point total of 92 with 88 points.

Tecumseh 26th at state swim and dive meet

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity boys swim and dive team placed 26th at the Division 3 state finals in Holland on Saturday, March 11. 
 
Cranbrook Kingswood won the title with 268 points while the Indians had 14 points to place 26th.
 

Marten wins back-to-back state titles

Drew Marten has accomplished what no other wrestler in the 150-year history of Tecumseh High School has ever done — won two individual state championships, and consecutively at that.
