Never doubting that he could do it — that he would do it, Clinton sophomore Noah Comar won the Division 4 state championship with a 3-1 overtime victory at the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s individual state finals on Saturday, March 4, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

A tight Division 4 state quarterfinal on Friday, Feb. 24 pitting Clinton against Leroy Pine River ended with the Redskins losing by just two points, falling 31-29.
 

Indians win 10-of-12 events against Adrian

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh varsity boys swim team hosted Adrian on Senior Night, February 16, and won 10-of-12 events for a 124-55 victory.
 
Kyle Mitchell and Riley Russell both placed first for Tecumseh in two events.
 

Tecumseh gymnasts win SCGL title for second time in school history

TECUMSEH — For only the second time in its school history, Tecumseh’s varsity gymnastics team won the South Central Gymnastics League (SCGL) championship on Saturday, Feb. 18. at Parma Western. 
 

Tecumseh bowlers secure conference championships

TECUMSEH — Both of Tecumseh’s varsity bowling teams captured Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships on Wednesday, Feb. 15.  
 
Tecumseh’s varsity boys (14-2) defeated Chelsea 19-11. 
 

Indians win Adrian Competitive Cheer Invitational

TECUMSEH — On Saturday, Feb. 11, Tecumseh’s varsity competitive cheerleading team placed first at Adrian’s Invitational with its highest overall score of the season (670).

It was fight-night at Clinton High School on Friday, Feb. 10, with the Redskins battling to stay alive in its winter homecoming varsity boys basketball game against a scrappy Whiteford Bobcat squad.
