BD’s Martin, Molnar win regional titles in track and field

Britton Deerfield seniors Steven Martin and Claire Molnar won titles in their Division 4 regional Friday at Hillsdale College. 

Martin broke his own school record in boys pole vault with a height of 14 feet. Molnar placed first in long jump with a distance of 16 feet, 10.75 inches.

Tecumseh’s Chenevey wins multiple track regional titles

Senior Gavin Chenevey immediately found success in track last year and has reached another level in his second season.

Chenevey won two individual races and was part of two winning relays to lead the Tecumseh boys to third place in a Division 2 regional Friday at Chelsea.

Clinton and Britton Deerfield athletes won events in the East Jackson Dome Classic on Friday.

Clinton’s Mason Brodie won the boys shot put with a distance of 45 feet, 9 inches. He also won discus with a mark of 151 feet, 8 inches.
